"Life Enthusiast"

"Do you know why I write?
Even though I'm very sick today, I write because it drives me. Writing reminds me that life is not meant to be lived, but appreciated.
We live through appreciation.
It's the subtle moments of stopping and observing life that we feel most alive. I believe that more than anything.
...I see a galaxy of ideas in the slightest fall of a dust molecule or the gentlest tug of a breeze on the curtain. I am not a mere writer--I am an observer of life, and all things stirring it.
Even today as I laid about, missing a day of school when I haven't in a long time, and watching a beloved show of mine seemingly all day--I was brought to a realization.
A thought that came into my mind while the wondrous characters I loved laid in a zucchini patch outside, starting up at the stars and the thought was this:
People would be more as they should if they laid out and looked up at the stars every night. Rain, snow, fog, or clouds--it would change them." (February 25, 2015 Wednesday 6:04PM)
I believe that.
I believe that because I believe in life.
I am a "Life Enthusiast".
It's what I am.
What are you?

words

"Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf,
So Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day,
Nothing gold can stay."
-Robert Lee Frost
